“We focus on one thing, waxing it, and we do it better than anyone else,” says the owner of European Wax Center Middletown and Marlboro Jennifer Bixon. “It’s a joke that’s often the wax cathedral, just like Yankee Stadium is the baseball cathedral.”
Before entering the Cathedral of Waxes, Bixon’s main objective was its promotional product and the trade in incentive items. Having been successful in capturing a clientele with his “client-centric” mentality, Bixon tried to open another business. For Bixon, the attention paid would be a challenge. “Everyone wants everything yesterday, and I’m always expiring,” he says. “I wanted a second activity, but I realized that I did not have time to devote to it.”
The lack of time eventually led to the Bixon franchise decision instead of starting something new. Being a businesswoman, Bixon entered the franchise with a prudent approach. “In business, you can always find a reason to say no,” he says. “Nothing comes without risks.”
Risk brought Bixon to Florida, where he met Cobas, the family behind the European Wax Center. The center offers a variety of services ranging from a Brazilian bikini wax to Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey to a full wax. According to Bixon, the Cobas guide, the energy and the good taste of the business have joined the business concept, making it more comfortable with the franchise. “It was the right time,” he says.
When it came to choosing a location, Middletown and Marlboro New Jersey looked like a great place for a waxing in Middletown, in the county of Monmouth, New Jersey. Located in Monmouth, the culture that surrounds Middletown and Marlboro is one of the people who take care of themselves; which includes a high interest in hair removal. According to Bixon, “We all think of Southern California or Orange County as a place where people care about fitness or their appearance,” he says. “But Monmouth County seems to reflect this.”
On a personal level, Bixon, a native of New Jersey, feels like Jersey is a great place to live with its mountains, beaches and proximity to New York, Boston and Washington D.C.
Bixon focuses on giving its guests the best wax experience, an experience that hopes to transcend its Monmouth locations. “The beauty of the franchise and the European Center for Waxes is consistency between the centers,” he says. “If you’re with us in Jersey and you have to go to Florida, you’ll have an almost identical experience.”
That experience includes a four-stage Comfort Wax System. Comfort wax is made of 100% natural beeswax. Provides epilation in Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey, tying to hair and not to skin. Along with products rich in vitamins, antioxidants and aloe, getting a wax at European Wax Center leaves the guest’s skin fresh and rejuvenated.
Another factor that confirms guests booking reservations at European Wax Center Middletown, Marlboro and other locations, according to Bixon, is the presentation. The European Wax Center is inspired by French European influences. It is decorated with light woods, bold accents and honeycomb shapes. So, while enjoying a quick eyebrow in Middletown, in the county of Monmouth, New Jersey, they can enjoy the pleasant environment and the clean working environment.
European Wax Center Marlboro will make an appearance at Marlboro Day in September and both locations will have stalls in the New Jersey Women’s Expo hosted by Brookdale Community College in November. The details are still under development, but, with more than 10,000 women waiting for the Expo, Bixon sees these events as a great way to raise awareness of the locations of Middletown and Marlboro and expose the world to the European wax cathedral. wax.
